Ricky is friendly and sweet. He always comes to the gate and loves attention. Will stand on crossties to be brushed, feet picked, fly sprayed and tacked up. He loves to be bathed and will come to you in the field to play with the hose. He is a real character. He has lots of good energy under saddle, and when asked he will “whoa” right away. He free lunges himself in a round pen in full tack and when you ask him, he stops and waits for you to go get him. He goes WTC and has started jumping and loves it! Has been hacked out alone and does not blink an eye at anything- wood piles, tractors, equipment, kids play structures, barrels, etc. He goes willingly and never pulls any stupid stunts. He follows an instructor on the ground and comes when called. He enjoys praise and likes to please. Ricky also trailers and is UTD on vaccines and regular farrier work every 7 weeks. Would like to see how far he goes so would be best suited to a confident young rider who wants some fun. He has great potential for many disciplines. He was bought last year as a project and started with the intent of finding him a job. Will consider all reasonable offers.
