Registered Oldenburg yearling filly by Routinier, out of a Wellington II mare.
Reverie (aka "Ella") is showing all the signs of becoming the best of both her parents' genes! Good looking, a great mover, wonderful temperament, willingness to learn and smart.
Ella is very much a people horse. She can be stubborn but is reasonable once she knows “it’s” not going to bite her… She's curious but careful.
She has great feet (according to farrier) and good straight legs with long pasterns and strong cannon bones.
She has been handled extensively (ok in cross ties, being bathed, sprayed, farrier etc.).
She is about 14.3hh at the moment, and will likely mature 16.2.
Sired by Oldenburg stallion Routinier (Rubenstein, Rohdiamant and Inschallah (on both sides) bloodlines: http://www.canadianwarmbloods.com/stalliondetail.php?horseid=1000136 or http://www.heritagemanorfarm.com/HMF/Article/3562
Dam: Red Bird, by Wellington II out of Keela (full sister to Brickenden Award winning stallion Cozy’s Commander). Red Bird won several CSHA Ontario championships as a weanling, yearling and two year old, and placed at both Cup classes at the Royal Winter Fair in 2000. She was shown dressage mostly (showed Level 3 but trained some Level 4 movements). She also enjoyed cross country a bit and she could jump the moon too! Naya was never a real marish horse. She is sensitive, but sensible at the same time.
Ella is quite a bit like her mother, but seems to have her dad’s eagerness to please. She’s got three good, expressive gaits and seems nicely “uphill”.
She would make a wonderful dressage, jumping or cross country prospect!
