Her damn is Rio's Lucia a 17.1h Hanoverian mare. Her sire is Rio Grande, arguably the best hunter jumper sire in Canadian history. Rio Grande is the sire of many hunter horses as well as international show jumpers. Her dam's sire is Continue by Contender.
Chrome's sire is Banderas who's sire is Balou du Rouet, a highly sought after as a breeding stallion, known for producing type and elastic movers with first class jumping ability. Banderas's dam Grisette's sire is the legendary Grannus. Banders produces foals with excellent conformation, movement and excellent natural jumping ability.
Chrome attended her Oldenburg Inspection and did very well receiving a score of 8.2 for movement. Judge's comments included "wonderful topline and the type of shoulder we want to have", "really nice head " and "best mover we've seen so far". Chrome is very quiet and well behaved. She is well handled, leads, starting to cross tie and single tie. Good for farrier and vet. UTD on everything. Should finish around 16.2
