Radiant is a lovely dressage horse that shows great promise. Imported from Germany in-utero, he is very modern dressage type with a wonderful '9' walk, a very smooth, easy to sit trot and a large active canter. Radiant is currently schooling Third Level. He is a kind, calm, loving horse with an engaging personality and will stand for hours to be brushed, groomed and snuggled. He is the ideal partner for a professional rider or a serious Ad.Am. competitor with his elegant looks, easy smooth movement and willing personality. He a clinically sound horse with excellent hard-ground flexion tests; he has wonderful strong, dark feet, clean legs and is free of all vices. He has no gastric, soundness, colic or respiratory issues and requires no maintenance or supplements. He is not spooky and enjoys long solo hacks and schooling outside in the fields. He is a very forward, light on his feet horse that can be ridden without spurs or a whip. Although tall (his rider is 5'11") he is a narrow and very much suited to a female rider being very light off of the aids. He clips, ties, baths and trailers quietly and is calm and levelheaded in new environments. He has demonstrated calm, patience with beginner level riders while always remaining naturally forward thinking.
Radiant gains his beautiful elegance, kind temperament and classical gaits from his genetics. Ramoneurs sire Rohdiamant was Bundeschampion as a 3 year old and went on to be an exciting Grand Prix horse, partnered with Lisa Wilcox and named to the US Olympic Team in Sydney. Ramoneurs dam-sire Alabaster is a stunning refining sire who has also produced Grand Prix offspring including Isabelle Werths Apache. His dam Verbands Premium Sudormes pedigree is exceptionally interesting with line breeding to dressage great Donnerhall. Her sire Dormello hails from the fantastic dressage stallion Dream of Heidelberg and her dam line is comes from Donnerschwee who recently was dam-sire of the 2012 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing Champion. Sudorme is a lovely mare offering proven ability that earned her the Verbands Premium Stute (mare) title in Germany from the Oldenburg Verband by competing a good Mare Performance Test.
