Offered for part board or on property lease. I work two full time jobs and don't have any time for her right now unfortunately.
Xena is a 14 yr old paint/perch/Appy/draft standing at about 15.3hh. She needs an intermediate to advanced rider with soft hands. More whoa then go but is very sensitive/ reactive to aids. Great on trails, alone or in groups. No issues with water. Will bare back and double. She has also been trained to drive single but hasn't driven in about 2.5 years. Has hunted. Loves to jump. She has done a few schooling jumper shows this summer in the 2'6-2'9s and has been placing in the top three. Sweet mare, will try to do anything you ask of her. Very honest. No buck, no rear, no refusal.
Has show potential for dressage, and barrels.
She is great with dogs, cats, sheep, cows, donkeys and llamas.
If you're interested in a discipline she has yet to try, that's fine too.
She is currently boarded at Dykman stables in Cambridge. Trails, 3outdoor arenas (one with jumps, and one with barrels and weaving poles) and an indoor arena.
