***Looking for***
Internship, working student, or simply a full-time position at a western stable in the area of PEI, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. I'm opening my own boarding\training barn a few years down the road and I'd like to get this position to further my experince and knowledge to bring back to Newfoundland. So it it very important to me that i learn the most i possibly can, and not be limited to stall mucking and such. I'm very comfortable with horses but keep safety in mind , I can do chores such as mucking stalls, grooming, tacking up horses, wrapping bandages, prepping feed, feeding, exersicing, riding and other things you may want me to do.
I have worked with horses from a young age, started my own mare and also worked with other horses as well as feeding 4+ daily. I'm a quiet rider, with a strong desire to become better and learn about the equine industry. I will be attending a Equine First Aid Certificate course in May to further my education, and I have my First Aid Certificate for humans as well. I have my drivers licence and my days are very flexible. I have a good work ethic which I have gotten from growing up on my families dairy operation, and a positive attitude. I hope I can be a good employee for you.
