Solid Gold is a unique gelding that combines a good jumping pedigree with great trainability. We have recently free jumped him 5' (1.5M) which he had no problems with. He is green with the jumping as he was a stallion for six years then gelded and started under saddle and as such is a young 11 years old. He has shown and placed this year in the Trillium Central East Zone - .90 meter Jumper.
Solid Gold has a very floaty trot (beautiful extension) and a powerful ground covering canter, W/T/C in a frame. He is a forward moving horse and can be strong at times. He can be strong jumping but is honest and will jump anything you point him at. He has a gorgeous jump with correct form, has recently free jumped 1.5M / 5 feet with room to go even higher. He's flashy, has great movement and would excel in dressage, jumpers, eventing or hunters.
He requires an intermediate rider who is very confident in their abilities. He currently is being trained for the jumper ring but has amazing potential for dressage, eventing and hunters.
