Rocky is a versatile athlete with jumping in his bloodlines, but exceptional movement for dressage. Incredibly fun to ride, he is soft, supple, willing and so easy! I hate to let him go but have decided to search for another palomino to bring up the levels, instead. Rocky has been shown through 1st level and knows all of the required 2nd level movements. Unfortunately, he strained his left hind suspensory February 2016 (not torn or otherwise significantly damaged) and took this season off to ensure a complete recovery. He is now beginning to head back to work slowly and should be ready for 2nd Level competition next year. He is a super horse with no vices, and does everything asked of him willingly and quietly. I am a 50 something amateur and absolutely love this horse! It has been a tough decision to make, but I've decided that I want my next dressage horse to be just like him, only palomino. I do have a video of him on my FB page showing a First Level test in 2014. Since he was born and raised with me, I have several videos of him over the years. His price reflects his "lost" year of training, and is firm. It will not take him long to be back up to full speed and worth twice what I'm asking. He learns quickly and tries very hard, and is an absolute joy. |
