HG San Classic is a 2001 16.3 hand imported Oldenburg gelding by Sandro Hit out of a Classiker mare.
Sony has three beautiful gaits with an exceptional walk that consistently scores 8.5. He has easy flying changes and is light in the contact. Sony has competed PSG/I1 with scored up to 65%. He participated in the NAJYRC in Juniors in 2012 with scores of 64 and 65% and in Young Riders in 2013. In 2015 he was shown 4th level and obtained scores up to 69%.
Sony likes to jump and go on trail rides. He has lived outside with other horses but is just as comfortable stabled with daily turnout.
Sony developed ringbone during the winter of 2014. This has not prevented him to be worked and has not affected his gaits. Recent x-rays were done in July 2016 as well as flexions and lunging on hard and soft surfaces and no lameness was detected. Sony has never been injected and is sound. Full vetting was last completed in December 2012 including back and neck x-rays.
Sony cribs, mostly at feeding times, but does not wear a collar.
Sony can be a little explosive when he is stressed.
