POSITION: Stable Assistant
LOCATION: Innisfil, ON

Searching for a capable, reliable, responsible, patient candidate who carefully follows directions.

REQUIRED
Strong communication skills
Comfortable in working outdoors in all weather conditions
Basic Equine First Aid
Understand show to take vitals
Bandaging
Basic knowledge of colic signs & symptoms
Basic Wound Care
Comfortable with young, older & larger horses.
Currently 4 horses ranging in age from 5 to 27 and sizes from 14.2hh - 17.2hh
Must Have Reliable Transportation

WAGE
$12.00 per hour
*Will re-evaluate after 3 months for wage increase depending on performance.

DAYS
Candidate must be available to work both weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

HOURS
Start: 7:30am
Minimum of 2 hours of work per day

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Chores will include but not limited to:
Feeding
Blanketing
Turn Out
4 to 6 stalls per day bedded with shavings
Waters (Dumped & Cleaned)
Sweeping & Aisle way Blown
Indoor Arena Harrowed (Outdoor - in summer as well)
& Various Misc. Barn Chores.
