$5000. Milton, Ontario. Lovely 13 year old, 16hh, Dutch warmblood/TB cross mare for sale. This mare is sound and healthy (up to date on everything), and is a straight-forward, uncomplicated ride both on the flat and over fences. She is quiet and steady 99% of the time, but would not be suitable for a beginner/novice rider as she very occasionally spooks (2-3 times a year). Otherwise, this mare has NO bolt, buck, bite, rear or other vices.
The video below is unfortunately poor quality (will try to upgrade soon) but shows her rideability and steady temperament - she had not been ridden in two weeks in the video and was not lunged or worked hard before the shooting began (5 minute warm up on a soft rein). She goes well in both a hunter or dressage frame, though she needs more consistent work to build her fitness for proper carriage in dressage. She has the potential to compete successfully in the hunters or to be trained up through the levels in dressage. She is a great all round horse who works as well in the field as she does in the ring, and hacks well alone or in company. She has not been ridden over fences very much since she moved to her current home 3 years ago, but when she has, she has been very honest and easy to her fences.
