BDF Philippine (1999) is from that fabulous Gjest/Stine combination that produced BDF Kanada King, BDF Malcom Locke, BDF Obelisk, and BDF Quest. You don’t find many Fjords better bred than Philly! She has extensive training in dressage and is a fun ride for an amateur. Philly may be a mature mare, but she has plenty of energy and has an incredible work ethic. She rides and drives. Philly is a forward horse. She would be a great choice for a rider with riding experience who wants to show lower level dressage and enjoys trail riding and wants a loveable mount to pamper. Philly is easy to load onto the trailer and great at shows! Philly is a lovely and healthy horse. She's easy to handle, UTD on shots, trims, teeth (floated in April). Easy keeper - no grain and barefoot. Fjords are a hardy breed - Philly's mom is 32 and still the Queen Bee at her barn in the states. Philly is great around kids; standing still and loving being groomed by my Pony Club kids. 14.2hh. Reason for selling: Recently needed to retire my daughter's show horse, Philly is too forward and strong for her. Need to sell my horse, and purchase a new one for my daughter. Love this mare!!! |
