Vendela is a well bred KWPN mare sired by Aram, who is the producer of the 2000 Olympic jumping gold medal champion De Sjiem. Her dam Wellelsey is the producer of the winning 3* event mare Kyra.

A top producing performance pedigree. The foal she is carrying is her 3rd foal. Sire to the foal is Darwin IHE, a son of A Fine Romance and Emilion mare. Darwin is a tall dark and handsome stallion, with a super personality and mind. His sire is also a proven sire of many top eventer, and hunters alike.

Vendela herself was training in dressage prior to a pasture accident that damaged her hind suspensory. She does have poor back legs now as a result of the injury and is only broodmare sound. She is an super mother, foals easily. She is a lovely mare to own, kind with a ton of personality that is both comical and endearing. She is close to my heart and only selling to reduce my broomare band. A great 1st mare for a 1st time breeder.

Smaller in stature, but both foals have/will grow past her in height.
