Galten Farms Ltd. - Equine Breeding Farm Supervisor (NOC 8252)

Regular Full- time, live- in position on a horse farm close to Toronto.

Duties include: Handling breeding stock, mares foals and stallions, live cover breeding, foal watch and foaling out, training young and /or difficult horses, training foals, managing veterinary visits and medical emergencies, handling and trimming hooves, general farm maintenance, ability to drive tractors and heavy equipment, livestock transport. Farrier experience and natural horsemanship experience and/or training is an asset in this position. Minimum 6 years experience, preference given to more experience. No education necessary though will be considered. English workplace language. Wages from $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Willing to pay more for highly qualified candidates.
