Applejack Shine (Simon) is a 12 year old, 13.1 hh, pony cross. He has competed successfully up to entry level in eventing, consistently in the ribbons and excels at the jumping phases. He is a forward ride, extremely honest and brave. Simon has a lovely, snuggly personality and is incredibly easy going. He stands quietly for the vet and farrier and is good to trailer, clip, bath, braid etc. Simon has front shoes but does just as well barefoot and easily gets along with other horses on turn out. He hacks out alone or in a group, is a very low maintenance, easy keeper, and is UTD on vaccinations, de worming, and dental. Simon is best suited to eventing or the jumper ring and an intermediate rider. He would be ideal for a confident child or small adult, and excels in a program.

Owner is pregnant with second child and no longer able to give this fur baby the attention he deserves. Would be available for full free lease or to a part boarder for 2-3 rides per week depending on rider goals and experience. Would be flat/hack and raised pole work only. Currently located in Port Perry, Ontario in a professional program being ridden by a 5 ft 5 teenager. Barn is a quiet boarder facility with indoor, hacking and outdoor riding areas. Excellent eventing coach available.
